I understand the clamoring for a start for Peter O’Brien. However, with the guys in the Arizona outfield playing so well, how can you sit any of them? An example of this is Inciarte who is hitting .325 over his last 30 games. In his case it is not as though he is a veteran playing out the final days of his contract. Inciarte is only in his second Major League season and he has as much right to play as anyone. Taken another way, maybe this is the D-backs’ way of auditioning him for a departure to another team. Inciarte ranks third on the team in stolen bases with 20 while his .301 batting average is fourth-best.
