On the opposite end of Corbin is Anderson, who is by no means guaranteed a rotation spot in 2016. He will be matched up against Zack Greinke on Wednesday, not an easy chore for a guy who came off one of his worst outings of the season. Anderson lasted only two innings on September 8th, giving up five runs and five hits against the Giants. Over his last 15 starts, the right-hander has an ERA of 5.47. He was even demoted ever so briefly to Triple A Reno. With a number of guys pitching this week fighting for a rotation spot for next year, it would behoove Anderson to have a respectable outing against a guy who is going to win the Cy Young Award.
