I am so sad to be writing this. The Arizona Diamondbacks wrap up their 2015 season by hosting the Houston Astros for three games. Fear not, though as there will be a playoff atmosphere on the field as the Astros look to clinch a playoff berth. Houston is three games back of the Texas Rangers in the American League West. However, they are one game in front of the Los Angeles Angels and Minnesota Twins for the second AL Wild Card. To say this is a big series for the visitors is a bit of an understatement.

You can bet the D-backs and their fans do not want a repeat of two years ago and have the Astros act like the Dodgers, celebrating a playoff berth by jumping into the pool. Arizona has a lot of motivation themselves as they look to sweep the series and finish at the .500 mark after winning only 64 games in 2014. Houston manager A.J. Hinch was the D-backs’ field boss between 2009 and 2010 having worked in their front office prior to becoming the manager. Here are the five players to watch in this all-important weekend tilt at Chase Field.
