He is another star product of the Houston farm system. Springer missed two months earlier this season with a fractured wrist. The second-year player is rolling right now with 12 hits over his last 32 at-bats. For the season, Springer is hitting .270 with 15 home runs and 15 stolen bases in 434 plate appearances. He is terrific in right field with a good arm that is sure to test the speedy D-backs. Springer was the 11th overall pick in the 2011 Draft out of UConn.
