Tale of the Tape:

Record: Diamondbacks (2-5), Dodgers (4-3)

Offense: Diamondbacks (.266/.316/.430, 4th in NL runs scored), Dodgers (.288/.337/.441, 1st in NL runs scored)

Team ERA: Diamondbacks (6.50, 13th in NL), Dodgers (2.83, 3rd in NL)

The Diamondbacks will have their work cut out for them in this series. Thanks to early production all throughout the Dodgers’ lineup, Los Angeles is near– if not at the top of the league in virtually every offensive category.

On top of that, the Diamondbacks will be forced to face a pitching staff with a 2.83 ERA; phenomenal in comparison to Arizona’s 6.50. Granted, Arizona will be fortunate to come into town with the back end of the rotation due to pitch–but the Los Angeles probables consist of two rookies who made very impressive debuts.
