Diamondbacks series preview: Bradley gets the nod

Players to Watch:
Archie Bradley will be the focal point of Game One, for sure. The youngster has been hit-or-miss (literally) at both the minor and major league level. If he wants to keep his status as a future cornerstone of the franchise, he must step up soon. Arizona will further look to the likes of Yasmany Tomas, Brandon Drury, and Nick Ahmed to keep up their offensive production. However, if their offense is going to be sustainable at all, Arizona needs Paul Goldschmidt to heat up. The good news for Goldy is that he has a .316 batting average against Madison Bumgarner in the past five years.
For the Giants, Angel Pagan and Brandon Belt will need to continue to carry the offense so long as Buster Posey continues to struggle. Posey looks to heat up during this series, as he has a .308 average in the past five years against Zack Greinke, to the Diamondbacks’ dismay.
