Players to Watch:

Following a thrilling finish against Pittsburgh, all eyes are on Paul Goldschmidt. He wrapped up the series with a two-homer game (one a game-tying shot in the bottom of the ninth), and appears to finally get his bat going. Goldy has his average up to .261 on the season, with five homers and 15 RBI’s. Welington Castillo will also undoubtably draw a lot of attention after a scorching hot streak against San Francisco and Pittsburgh.

For St. Louis, their youthful offense should be exciting to watch. Outfielders Jeremy Hazelbaker, Randal Grichuk, and Stephen Piscotty are among the next generation Cardinals. Top that off with rookie shortstop Aledmys Diaz, who is hitting .480 in his first 50 Major League at-bats, and that makes a very exciting Cardinal lineup.
