Diamondbacks series preview: Into the Rockies

Players to watch: 

Trevor Story made history with seven home runs in his first six games– including four in three games against Arizona– but has hit just four since then. Given his reputation against the Diamondbacks, however, keep an eye on him.

The previously-mentioned Tyler Chatwood is someone else to watch. He has been nothing short of fantastic this season, and is off to one of the best starts in Rockies history.

As for the Diamondbacks, they must hope Archie Bradley can turn his early-career results around. But since pitching is going to be tough, the burden is once again going to be on the offense in this one. Jean Segura is riding a six-game hitting streak coming into the series, so he’s about two months away from Joltin’ Joe’s record. If he wants to get there, there’s no more likely place to keep that going than Colorado.
