Players to Watch and Prediction

For the Diamondbacks, Paul Goldschmidt is once again the guy to watch. Since May 14, Goldy has been one of the better hitters in the NL, reaching base safely in 26 of 27 games. During that stretch he is hitting .362 with four home runs and 20 RBI.

For the Dodgers, Clayton Kershaw will be the man everybody is watching. One interesting note: Kershaw has a career 3.90 ERA at Chase Field, which is third-highest among active ballparks behind Coors Field and Angels Stadium for the Dodgers’ ace.

Prediction: The Diamondbacks win Game 1, and the Dodgers win the final two games.
