Probables

Monday: Vince Velasquez (5-2, 3.65 ERA) vs. Robbie Ray (4-6, 4.59 ERA)

Tuesday: Jerad Eickhoff (5-9, 3.36 ERA) vs. Zack Greinke (10-3, 3.61 ERA)

Wednesday: Zach Eflin (0-2, 6.28 ERA) vs. Archie Bradley (3-3, 4.50 ERA)

Phillies ace Vince Velasquez will be returning from the DL after suffering a biceps injury about a month ago. Velasquez was a major reason behind the Phillies’ hot start; they’ve struggled badly without him. He’ll face off against Robbie Ray, who has a 2.84 ERA over his last three starts.

Tuesday represents the best pitching matchup of the series. The Diamondbacks will send Zack Greinke to the mound, who has not lost a game since May 12. He will be up against Jerad Eickhoff, who is one of the more underrated pitchers in the NL and possibly the best on the Phillies’ staff.

Wednesday looks to be a bit more of a slugfest. Archie Bradley has mostly struggled this year, as his 4.50 ERA would indicate. Eflin, a 22-year-old whom the Philles received for Jimmy Rollins, has struggled in limited action this season.
