Players to watch

Velasquez is going to be someone to watch on the Philadelphia side. The team really dodged a bullet with his injury– he was pulled two pitches into a game last month. That usually isn’t a good sign, but luckily for Philadelphia they were able to get him back soon. He was one of the key players traded for Ken Giles in the offseason, so he figures to be a big part of the team’s future.

For the Diamondbacks, just keep an eye on the whole team. This may seem like a lazy pick, but their home struggles have been well documented all season, so this is a must-win series if they want to continue trending upward.
