Arizona Diamondbacks: Five players that are quietly impacting the team’s success
By Joseph Jacquez

Randall Delgado
Getting the job done as a starter and a reliever. Sound familiar Diamondbacks fans? Josh Collmenter might not have put up the best numbers, but he was an effective reliever and starter for a number of seasons.
Since coming to Arizona in a trade from the Atlanta Braves, Delgado has dazzled out of the pen and contributed to the rotation when needed. In four starts this season, in place of Taijuan Walker, Delgado sported a respectable 3.15 ERA.
The righty has held opponents scoreless in seven of his last eight relief outings. Among all-time Diamondbacks relievers, Delgado ranks third in wins, fourth in strikeouts, fifth in innings pitched and ninth in games.
