Game 3: Taijuan Walker (9-7, 3.32 ERA) vs. Chris Stratton (2-3, 4.07 ERA)

If Taijuan Walker is going to start a division series game, assuming the Diamondbacks win the Wild Card game, he is going to have to start pitching deeper into games.

Walker issued five free passes and that only allowed him to go six innings in his last start against the Rockies. Walker has also struck out 20 batters over his last 16 innings. Strikeouts are great but he needs to become more pitch efficient.

Chris Stratton only managed one inning of work in his last start, as a result of a rain delayed game against the Los Angeles Dodgers. One good number working against Stratton and in the Diamondbacks favor: he has fared far better on the road (3.42 ERA) then at home (5.17).

Prediction: I like the pitching match ups for the Diamondbacks. At the very least, they should win two of three, but I predict they will sweep San Francisco.
