Arizona Diamondbacks: Is Taijuan Walker the odd man out of playoff rotation?

Zack Godley has plenty of reasons to smile.
He can continue to run off the mound, if he continues to turn in one consistent performance after another.
Other than Greinke and Ray, Godley has been by far the D-backs most reliable starter, and he was not even in the rotation until Shelby Miller got injured. Godley is a ground ball machine and has needed just 15.5 pitches per inning, better than both Walker and Corbin.
Godley has gone at least six innings in six of his nine starts in August and September, including going seven and eight innings in his last two starts against the Padres and Rockies respectively.
Godley ranks in the top-10 in WAR among pitchers along with Greinke, Ray and Archie Bradley. In my mind, the “Bull” deserves to start game three if the D-backs make it to the division series.
Bottom Line: Based on what I have said above, I would have to say right now that Walker would be the odd man out, because of his inability to go deep into games.
