Archie Bradley

Another big name for the Diamondbacks in 2017: Archie Bradley.

Bradley reluctantly left his role as a starting pitcher for the bullpen, but dominant doesn’t quite describe his performance there.

As of Sept .12, baseball reference reported that Bradley has the highest WAR among relievers across both leagues. At the time, it was 3.9, but it is now 3.6, which ties him with Corey Knebel.

However, it isn’t just his pitching that has helped him team. Bradley is arguably the heart of the Diamondbacks and his personality has captured the attention of the entire league.

Combine his passion with the fact that his opponents bat in the low .200’s against him and those batting in the postseason should be worried.

Against the Rockies, Bradley has faced 34 batters, only allowing one extra-base hit and striking out eight of them. His numbers at Chase Field only pad those stats.

There’s no doubt he will be fired up and ready to protect #OurHouse if he is called upon on Wednesday. Most are projecting he will take a similar role to Andrew Miller in 2016, pitching multiple innings of relief in most games.
