This isn’t really bold, but I’m going to say that J.D. Martinez hits a homer off the Rockies.

Martinez has 45 home runs this season, 29 with the Diamondbacks including 16 at Chase Field in 30 games.

However, the Rockies could throw a wrench in this prediction if they choose to pitch around Martinez, which would receive boos from the sold out crowd at Chase Field, but it isn’t the dumbest idea in the world.

The good thing is, if they decide to do that, I don’t think Martinez will be alone on the offensive side.
