4. Someone’s bat will wake up
It’s no secret that Jake Lamb didn’t have a great second half and Paul Goldschmidt didn’t have a great September. But, one of them, if not both of them, will change that.
I’m looking at Jake Lamb to get his first off of Jon Gray. He has success off of him in the best and his September hints that he might just be waking up anyway.
Goldschmidt had a slow September and there’s no doubt that he knows it. But, that also means, he has spent the last few days studying every pitch the Rockies could throw him. I think he’ll be well prepared.
The fans at Chase Field should be ready to see America’s First Baseman in his full-MVP-calibre form.
