Arizona Diamondbacks
PHOENIX, AZ – SEPTEMBER 23: Taijuan Walker /

This might be the boldest prediction I have today, but I’ll you decide.

Clayton Kershaw is an ace, there’s no doubt about that. The Arizona Diamondbacks haven’t performed well against him in 2017, but he also didn’t face the red-hot D-backs offense in the second half.

Kershaw also doesn’t have the best track record in the postseason.

But, I think he brings a solid game tonight. Not his best postseason performance, but solid Kershaw.

The bolder side of this statement is that Taijuan Walker will keep up with him to a certain degree. In 2017, the Dodgers had a .239 team batting average against Walker.

However, if he should crumble early, the bullpen will hold it down and make it a game. Walker should be on a very short leash.
