Five (bold) predictions for the Arizona Diamondbacks in the NLDS
By Trisha Garcia

3. J.D. homers
So, I used this prediction for the Wild Card game and I was wrong.
But, I don’t think anyone could forget that Martinez hit four home runs in one game at Dodger Stadium earlier this season.
It might not come off Kershaw, but it should come off the bullpen. Maybe Baez.
The pressure is on after his 0-for-4 performance in the Wild Card game. But, Martinez never stays down for long.
In his 62 games in an Arizona Diamondbacks uniform, Martinez had 18 games without a hit. But, in the games that followed his hit-less games, Martinez has a .323 batting average with 8 walks and 8 home runs.
After going 0-for-2 in his final regular season appearance and 0-for-4 in the Wild Care game, “Just Dingers” is due.
