The Diamondbacks Catchers, Kelly finally back!

  • Carson Kelly: The catcher of the future for the Diamondbacks. He was originally acquired in the Paul Goldschimdt trade. He has completely broken out this year with great hitting, defense, and base-running. He has suffered two injuries this year, a broken toe and wrist , that resulted in two IL stints. He’s struggled a bit since coming back but I have complete faith in him. He is hitting .248, .378, .435 with 8 HR’s, 26 RBI’s, and 31 walks to only 41K’s.
  • Bryan Holaday: The old-veteran of the team. He’s become something of a catching journeyman during his career in the MLB. He was only recently promoted to the MLB following the Stephen Vogt trade. He’s a good mentor for Carson Kelly and hybrid catcher Daulton Varsho to have. Holaday’s batting line this year is .217, .280, .304 with 1 RBI and 10 K’s.
  • Daulton Varsho: The rookie backstop who is a hybrid as he also plays the OF very well. He’s mainly been manning CF during Ketel Marte’s injury. He came up to replace Carson Kelly when he got hurt. He’s since proven he should stay with a torrid hitting streak lately with loads of homers. Daulton has speed, fielding ability, and a great hit-stick. He’s a future star of the Dbacks. His stat-line for this year is .211, .322, .382, with 5 HR’s, 16 RBI’s, 3 SB’s., and 20 walks to 33 K’s.
