The Diamondbacks look to keep the good vibes going, get a series win, and most importantly start a winning streak. Its funny how the game of baseball works. The Dbacks didn’t do much right through the first 10 games of the season and as a result started a franchise worst 2-8. Yesterday the Snakes did everything right: they got an early lead, they tacked on, and the bullpen more specifically Josh Collmenter held the lead. Of course everybody would like to see Bronson Arroyo go more than 5 innings, but he did his job, pitching a quality start. Now the Dbacks look to get an important series victory against the Giants and move up in the N.L West standings. Here is what you need to know for tonight’s series finale and the final game of the road-trip:

Need to Know: Delgado gave up 6 runs on 10 hits in four plus innings on Friday against the Rockies…He was chosen as the no.5 starter over Archie Bradley late in camp after ace Patrick Corbin went down with the torn UCL…It was originally thought he was going to be in the bullpen…Delgado has to keep his fastball down in the zone to be effective…The team needs him to go deep into the game and show why he deserves to stay in the rotation…Vogelsong gave up 4 runs in 4 innings in his first start against the Dodgers on Friday…He believes a flaw in his pitching mechanics is the reason for his recent struggles…In his career against the Dbacks he is 2-4 with an era of 4.48.
