After yesterday’s embarrassing 9-0 loss to the Mets on Jackie Robinson Day the Diamondbacks are now 4-13 which is the worst record in baseball and they are 6 and a half back in the N.L West. Probably the most disturbing thing about this season besides the starting rotation is the Snakes record at home. Counting the two games in Australia the Dbacks are 1-10 at home and they are 1-8 at Chase Field. The attendance as expected is dropping by the day down in 18,000 range for the Mets and with every loss the fan base is going to loose interest. It showed last night when the fans voiced their displeasure booing the Snakes after the Mets had taken an 8-0 lead in the 4th inning. This team is also 4-12 against their own division this season which isn’t going to get it done. This year is quickly turning into 2004 all over again. This team has to right the ship and start in the series finale today. Here is all the info you need to know for the rubber game:

What: Mets@Diamondbacks

When: 12:35pm

Where: Chase Field

TV/Radio: FSAZ/KTAR FM (98.7), KTAR-AM (620), KSUN-AM (1400)

Matchup: RHP Dillion Gee (0-0 5.03 era) vs. RHP Brandon McCarthy (0-2 7.78 era)

Need to Know: Gee lacked his usual control in his last start walking four batters in a short outing against the Angels in Anaheim…Gee faced the Dbacks once in 2013 holding them to two runs in seven innings…He is 1-1 with a 3.75 era in 24 innings pitched against Arizona…McCarthy has had a frusturating season so far…He has allowed 5 runs, 6, and 6 in his first three starts…McCarthy seems to have really good innings and then fall apart in the middle of the game…The Dbacks desperately need a long outing out of him…According to Manager Kirk Gibson, he will throw 100 pitches regardless of the situation…He is 0-1 with a 2.57 era in only seven career innings against New York.

Dbacks Lineup: In an effort to create a spark like what happened in San Francisco, Gibson has inserted Tony Campana and Cliff Pennington into the lineup

4. Miguel Montero, C
