Diamondbacks Links: G.M. Meetings This Week

Good Morning Diamondbacks fans! Its Monday morning and that means its time for some links about your favorite sports team: the Arizona Diamondbacks! The hot-stove season has begun and its going to be fun! The Qualifying Offer and Option season is over, and this week its the G.M. Meetings right here in the beautiful state of Arizona. Trades and deals dont usually happen here, but this is where deal making begins with agents, executives, and the players. New Diamondbacks Manager Dave Stewart has made several things clear this off-season.

Paul Goldschmidt will be at first, Didi Gregorius and Chris Owings will be up the middle, and Aaron Hill and Jake Lamb will compete at third. The bullpen is pretty much intact and guys like Kaleb Fleck, Enrique Burgos, Jimmie Sherfy, Jake Barrett, and Matt Stites will be big pieces going forward. The biggest questions when it comes to the Dbacks is the team’s crowded OF, and their starting rotation. Stewart has indicated that he wants to rebuild his rotation in the trade market.
