Arizona Diamondbacks Fall League Review: Charles Brewer

The 2011 Arizona Fall League season has now ended, so it is now time to review just how the Arizona Diamondbacks organizational participants performed. Next we look at Charles Brewer, pitcher. The 6’4 righty is from UCLA. His current team is Mobile. Let’s take a look at how Brewer did in this season’s league.
Stats: 1-1, 5.46 ERA in eight games
Review: Opponents hit .333 against him. Not very appetizing. He did strikeout 22 batters in 28 innings. Tough to make too much out of just eight appearances, but clearly could have gone better for him.
Outlook: It still has to be a pretty good outlook. He had a good season in Mobile, going 5-1 with a 2.58 ERA. He had two complete games in 11 starts, so you have to like the ability to go long into games. Wouldn’t be surprised to be hearing about him in 2012, 2013 at the latest.
