Once again the Dbacks will look to get off the snide. Now at a franchise worst 1-7 to start the season after another blown lead, the Diamondbacks foundation seems to be crumbling under them. The obvious holes in the pitching staff and the bullpen are evident, and need to change quickly. Starters simply need to go deeper into ball games if the Snakes are going to have any success this season. Its time to start a winning streak today and salvage a game in the series against the Rockies. Starter Wade Miley’s goal for today should be to simply go deep in the game. Keep this in mind: the Dbacks bullpen has thrown the most innings so far in 2014. Here is all the info you need to know for Game 3 of the series:

Need to Know: Miley gave up four first inning runs against the Giants in his second start of the season but then settled down…He is the only Dbacks pitcher with a win so far, and will be tasked to ignite a winning streak…Miley has had great success against Colorado in his career going 6-0 with an era under 3…Rockies starter Brett Anderson has had a hard time staying healthy in his career…He has never thrown more than 175 and a third innings in a season…Anderson was with the A’s last season…The only hitter in the Dbacks lineup with any at bats against Anderson is Aaron Hill who hits .333 against him.
