Chip Hale New Diamondbacks Manager: Twitter Reacts
By Joseph Jacquez

When the Arizona Diamondbacks announced that Oakland Athletics bench coach Chip Hale would be the franchise 7th manager, twitter reacted, and most of the feedback on the hiring was positive. Here is some of what twitter had to say about Hale.
First from Susan Slusser, who covers the Athletics for the San Francisco Chronicle:
Chip Hale is upbeat, wildly energetic and ultra-prepared. He is going to make a terrific big-league manager. #DBacks #Athletics

Former Diamondbacks OF Eric Byrnes also weighed in on his former coach being hired by the Diamondbacks:
Not sure if I have ever had a coach who has as much passion for baseball as Chip Hale… Love the hire by @Dbacks

Only guy I know who could possibly match Kirk Gibson's intensity is Chip Hale. Think Mighty Mouse managing a big league club #Entertainment

The Oakland Athletics official twitter account congratulated Hale:
Big congratulations to Chip Hale on being named Manager of the @Dbacks. We wish him the best, it’s well deserved! pic.twitter.com/q77qQKqgGL

Besides reaction from outside the organization, plenty of people from inside the Diamondbacks organization chimed in including Dbacks play by play man Steve Berthiaume:
Diamondbacks Team President Derrick Hall reacted by saying that this was a great day for the organization and for Dbacks fans:
Thrilled for our @dbacks with third of Chip Hale. Nice homecoming for he and the fans.

Hale is a University of Arizona alum and helped lead the Wildcats baseball team to a National Championship in 1986. He is also the Wildcats all time hits leader. So of course Arizona Baseball reacted to the hiring:
Congrats to Chip Hale for being named the @Dbacks manager! He played on 1986 national title team and is our all-time hits leader. #BearDown

Most of the Diamondbacks fans that I talked to loved the hiring by Chief Baseball Officer Tony La Russa, and General Manager Dave Stewart. They were really excited that he was coming home to Arizona, and they were excited for 2015.
We here at venomstrikes would like to congratulate Chip Hale, and hope that he can lead the Dbacks to the playoffs in 2015!
