J.D. Martinez blasted a walkoff hit off the wall in left field to score David Peralta and the Diamondbacks began to celebrate.

The Diamondbacks will face the Colorado Rockies, Milwaukee Brewers or St. Louis Cardinals in the one-game playoff. All three teams won Tuesday. As a result, the Rockies still hold a 1.5 game lead over the Brewers and a 2.5 game edge over the Cardinals.

If the Diamondbacks win the wild card game, Arizona would face the team with the best record in the N.L.

Entering Tuesday’s action, the Los Angeles Dodgers, with win No. 101 Tuesday and a loss by the Washington Nationals, would lock up home field advantage throughout the National League Playoffs. The Dodgers were beating the San Diego Padres 5-2 after six innings in Los Angeles. The Nationals lost to the Philadelphia Phillies 4-1.

Make sure you tune into Fox Sports Arizona on the day of the game. The television home of the D-backs will have complete coverage.
