The Diamondbacks Rebellion in the Desert has been invaded by the San Diego Padres Empire.

It’s time for the Diamondbacks to stand up and fight back to protect their sacred Chase Field Temple. The Dbacks are back in town after a quick two-game series vs the Giants.

The Diamondbacks dropped both games in San Francisco. Last night the Dbacks lost 7-2. Kevin Gausman was on point once again tonight. However, Merrill Kelly finally had a bad start. It was the fifth time this year that the Giants had seen him.

On Tuesday, the Dbacks overcame Gallen’s poor start and came back twice to tie the game in the 9th 7-7. However, a Christian Walker error in the bottom of the 9th gave the Giants the win.

Today’s a new day though. The Dbacks are starting Taylor “Wedge” Widener vs the Padres Darth Yu Darvish. Widener has a 1-1 record with a 4.89 ERA and 50 K’s. The Dark Force user Darvish has a 7-6 record with a 3.43 ERA and 154 K’s. Update: Taylor Widener felt sick and was placed IL as a precaution. Matt Peacock replaced him as SP. He is 5-7 with 4.91 ERA and 45 K’s.

Friday’s battle has the Dbacks’ Madison “Han” Bumgarner starting vs Bounty Hunter Blake Snell. The former has a 6-7 record with 4.42 ERA and 82 K’s. The latter has a 6-4 record with a 4.86 ERA and 124 K’s.

Saturday’s skirmish has the Rebellion yet to decide who will defend their territory against the Empire. The Empire is sending out their Sith Inquisitor Joe Musgrove. He is 8-7 with a 2.81 ERA and 147 K’s. Update: The Rebels have announced their victor! It shall be Tyler Gilbert. He is a rookie who only made his MLB debut last week. This will be his first ever MLB start. He is currently 0-1 with 0.00 ERA and 5 K’s in 3.2 IP’s. In Triple-AAA Reno, he was 5-2 in 11 games (10 started) with a 3.44 ERA and 50 K’s to 19 walks in 52.1 IP’s.

The final battle in the yearly invasion by an Empire in the desert is on Sunday. The Diamondbacks are trusting their Ace Zac “Luke” Gallen against a mysterious Dark Force user that has yet to be revealed. Zac is 1-6 with a 4.87 ERA and 82 K’s.
