Tyler Gilbert just won NL Player of the Week after his magical week!

Tyler Gilbert threw a No-Hitter on Saturday against the San Diego Padres. He dominated the Padres and kept them off-kilter the whole game. Thanks to his magical performance, the MLB has declared him to be the National League Player of the Week. He joins Madison Bumgarner as the only other Diamondbacks player to win the award this year.

Tyler became just the fourth player ever in history to throw a No-Hitter in their first MLB start. It was truly special and absolutely the best part of the entire season for the Diamondbacks. He is only the third Dbacks player to ever throw a No-Hitter.

Diamondbacks special ticket offer thanks to Tyler Gilbert

Thanks to Tyler Gilbert throwing 9 innings of No-Hit ball against the Padres, the Dbacks have a new ticket offer. They are offering $9 tickets to the weekend series against the Seattle Mariners for the dates 9/3-5. They are upper level seats but you can’t beat $9! Thanks Tyler and thanks Diamondbacks!

Also, that series is the celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Dbacks World Series victory in 2001. There is going to be give-aways, a reunion, and other cool features to remember our World Series winning team.

Plus, you get to see a team that doesn’t often come to Chase Field in the Seattle Mariners. You can see former Dbacks player Mitch Haniger play. He was traded to the Mariners in the Ketel Marte trade. The Mariners also have loads of young talented players that are reaching the MLB level for first time. They are a good preview for what it will look like for the Dbacks when our young guys reach the MLB.

As always,

May the Force be with You…
