Diamondbacks have a Mountain to climb this weekend
Diamondbacks vs Rockies this weekend, can the Dbacks win a game at Coors Field?
The Diamondbacks have not been good at Coors Field this year. You could say they have a mountain they need to climb this weekend. The season series between the Dbacks and Rockies have been as different as two sides of a coin. The Dbacks have to play the Phillies tonight before starting this series on Friday.
The Diamondbacks have been struggling massively when they play in the mile high land. This year, at Coors Field, the Dbacks are 1-5. They only won that one game thanks to Matt Peacock’s heroics way back in early April. Now they are heading to Colorado for their final games this year at that park. Hopefully the Dbacks can finish strong in Denver.
As for how the Dbacks have done against the Rockies at home? Well, we are on the other side of the coin now. We are 5-2. It’s funny how that works. Rockies can’t win in AZ, Dbacks can’t win in CO.
The Diamondbacks have a total record of 6-7 versus the Rockies this year. They average 4.7 runs against them. Yet, when they play in Coors Field this year, they somehow only average 3.8 runs to Colorado’s 6.8 runs. Let’s hope the Dbacks can flip the script this weekend.

Let’s hope the Dbacks can continue to perform and show us what they could’ve done this year had injuries not gotten in the way. The Dbacks have taken 5 of 6 during this home-stand that ends this afternoon. It’s encouraging to see the team still battling under Torey.
Onto Colorado in a few hours, go get the win today Snakes.
