Madison Bumgarner takes on the Sailors of the Pacific North West

The Seattle Mariners have yet to determine a pitcher for Friday’s game. When they do, this post should be updated to reflect that. As of right now, only the Diamondbacks have confirmed their pitcher (shocking I know). That pitcher is MadBum. Madison’s been on a comeback tour of late. Indeed, he has struggled the last two times out against the Pirates and Phillies. However, I’m willing to continue the faith and believe that those were just bumps in the road. After all, it was the second time both teams had faced MadBum within weeks of the first time.

He’s not faced much of the Mariners lineup as they are such a young team. Only Ty France and Luis Torrens have faced him before. Of course, they are both former Padres players so that explains why. Combined, those two have two hits in seven at-bats against him. Also, Mitch Haniger is 0-2 against Bumgarner in his career so far.

Madison Bumgarner has a rather solid stat-line of 7-9, 4.17 ERA, 4.23 FIP, 1 shutout (No-Hitter), 107 hits, 30 walks, 101 K’s, and 117.1 innings pitched.
