Tyler Gilbert seeks to continue his strong start as a Diamondbacks starting pitcher

The Seattle Mariners are once again throwing out the boogie monster as it has yet to be decided who will start for them. The Diamondbacks surprised me though by having their starting pitcher decided already! It shall be Tyler Gilbert. This will be his first time playing against the Seattle Mariners.

Tyler’s had a bit of a struggle lately avoiding the big inning but has been consistent. He gives the team a chance to win every time he goes out. He’s a reliable pitcher who can eat up innings for a team that needs it badly. I enjoy watching him pitch every time and it’s not just because he threw a No-Hitter.

Overall, his stat line is 1-2, 2.93 ERA, 3.84 FIP, 1 shutout (No-Hitter), 9 ERs, 10 walks, 20 K’s, and 27.2 innings pitched. Let’s Go Gilbert! I look forward to this game a lot.
