Diamondbacks Giveaways and Promotions this season

The Arizona Diamondbacks always have many promotions to entice fans to come to spend money at their ballpark and see their games. The days these promotions usually have the highest attendance rate for the team throughout the season. It helps they are held on Saturday most often. The Dbacks hold not only giveaways such as bobbleheads, but also shirts, hats, bags, and various other items. They also hold theme nights whether its Game of Thrones, Star Wars, Italian, or various other nights. In the past, they have held throwback alumni game nights too where the players of the past square off once again. This year, they have 21 such giveaway, events, themes, or other celebrations.

The one thing you will notice this year compared to every year in team history, besides 2020, is the lack of bobbleheads. There are no bobbleheads being given this year. Reportedly, this is due to supply chain issues and that the team couldn't ensure they would be here in time. They will return in 2023 reportedly. That's extremely sad as bobbleheads are probably the most popular giveaway for the team. One thing that will return from 2021 is the team splitting its giveaway days. Instead of doing all 20,000 on one day like in the past, they do 10,000 over two days to promote more people coming to games I presume.

April Giveaways for the Diamondbacks

April 22nd vs New York Mets: Jackie Robinson 75th Anniversary celebration

On this Friday, the Dbacks will be celebrating Jackie Robinson and the 75th anniversary of his breaking the color barrier in the MLB. There will be a postgame fireworks show and a rally towel being given away to the first 5,000 fans. Additionally, there's a ticket offer that if you buy a specific ticket, you get a Jackie Robinson Diamondbacks hat.

Saturday, Sunday, April 23rd-24th vs New York Mets: Diamondbacks Hooded Tees

Over these two days, 10,000 Diamondbacks hooded tees will be given away each day. They are short-sleeved and look very nice. I like them and plan on snagging one myself. I guess then, 9,999 will be available one of those days. This will be the only time the Mets are in town all year to see former Dbacks players like Eduardo Escobar, Max Scherzer, and Starling Marte among others.

Sunday - Wednesday, April 24th-27th vs LA Dodgers: Dias Del Nino

Over these four days, the Diamondbacks kids club is giving away a special Serpienteria Game and other prizes to all the kid's club members that attend. This will be the team's first home matchup with the rival Dodgers.

Saturday, May 7th vs Colorado Rockies: Mother's Day celebration with Rose Gold Cap

The Diamondbacks are celebrating Mother's Day a day early by giving away 5,000 Rose Gold Caps to moms that come to the game. They are nice and this is day 1 of 2 days celebrating Moms. If you're a mom, try to snag the cap or the one on Sunday below!

Sunday, May 8th, vs Colorado Rockies: Mother's Day celebration with Clear Crossbody Dbacks Bag

The Diamondbacks are giving away 5,000 crossbody Dbacks bags to the moms that show up first to Mother's Day game against the Rockies. They seem to be bags that you will be able to use or bring to games for the future.

Friday, May 13th, vs Chicago Cubs: PostGame Fireworks

The team is still having some fireworks displays occur this year despite the roof not being able to be opened or closed while fans are inside. The roof takes roughly 20 minutes now to open/close due to issues with the cables that move the ginormous roof. This means that the roof will be open or closed for the entirety of games.

Friday, May 27th, vs LA Dodgers: Postgame Fireworks

Monday, May 30th, vs Atlanta Braves: Memorial Day Reversible Bucket Hat

The Dbacks are giving out a reversible bucket hat where it's camo on one side and black with a camo "A" on the other side. It's a rare Monday giveaway due to Memorial Day and will feature 10,000 of these being given away. It looks nice to me.

Saturday, June 18th, vs Minnesota Twins: Juneteenth

The Diamondbacks are celebrating Juneteenth but there are no giveaways. It's a theme night.

Sunday, June 19th, vs Minnesota Twins: Father's Day Hawaiian Shirt

The Diamondbacks are giving away a Hawaiian shirt to the first 15,000 dads that show up at the ballpark. It's a trendy item that never goes out of style and is sure to make the dad or guy that tells dad jokes plenty of happiness. Expect it to be a hot item at the ballpark for a giveaway.

Saturday, June 25th, vs Detroit Tigers: Pride Night/Shirt

The Diamondbacks are celebrating pride night by giving away a black t-shirt with the word "D-Backs" over a rainbow to the first 15,000 people that show up to the game. It's a theme night as well.

Monday, July 4th, vs San Fran Giants: July 4th Fireworks

Celebrate Independence Day in style with the Diamondbacks as you see them take on a rival in the Giants before a massive and great fireworks display after the game to American Patriotic music. It's always a fun time and this year should be no different, although the roof might be open the whole game which will make things interesting with the humidity.

Saturday, July 23rd, vs Washington Nationals: Star Wars Night with a Star Wars T-Shirt!

The Force is sure to be strong this night with the Dbacks on Star Wars night. After all, the last Star Wars night did have a No-Hitter be thrown by Jedi Master Tyler Gilbert. Plus, the team is giving away 10,000 t-shirts to the first fans that show up. It should be a good game and reason to escape the heat of Phoenix.

Saturday, August 6th, vs Colorado Rockies: International Trading Card Day

The Diamondbacks have a trading card night that I presume will include a giveaway but the team hasn't said what the giveaway would be just yet.
