The Arizona Diamondbacks and Cincinnati Reds are locked in a weekend series between two of the more surprising teams in the National League this season.

The Reds captured Game 1 in a 9-6 shootout. Should we expect another offensive affair on Saturday? I think so.

Let's find out what the oddsmakers think.

Diamondbacks vs Reds odds, run line, and total

Diamondbacks vs. Reds prediction and pick

I expect more of the same that we saw last night, especially with today's pitching matchup.

Brandon Pfaadt gets the start for the Diamondbacks tonight, and he's been one of the worst starters in Major League Baseball through his first four games. He sports an abysmal 9.82 ERA ahead of tonight's game, along with a 7.49 FIP and a 1.870 WHIP.

He has allowed five or more earned runs in three of his last five starts and now he has to face-off against a Reds that's eighth in OPS over the past eight days.

Things aren't much better on the other side of things. Cincinnati is rolling with Brandon Williamson, who enters the game with a 4.96 ERA, a 5.50 FIP, and a 1.329 WHIP.

Instead of picking a side in this one, it's best for us to just sit back and root for runs in this National League matchup.
