Still juiced up by the Arizona Diamondbacks' underdog World Series run in 2022, spurred by the greatness of Corbin Carroll, Alek Thomas, and Brandon Pfaadt (and, yes, a few veterans)? Intrigued by potentially seeing the next wave of young D-Backs prospects? This spring, MLB has a present wrapped up specifically for you, which'll be unveiled at spring training this week.

Spring Breakout, a new initiative showcasing the league's burgeoning crop of top prospects, will take center stage this week at D-Backs camp. While Jordan Lawlar received a cameo last fall, he and Druw Jones represent the leaders of the new crop of Arizona sluggers, and they'll look to make their mark against the Rockies top prospects in a televised showdown at 7:10 PM EST/4:10 PM PST on Saturday, March 16.

D-Backs vs Rockies Spring Breakout Game Live Stream, Rosters, How to Watch

The answer to "How to Watch" has never been simpler. Just ... stay here!

Spring Breakout games will be seven innings long, but without all that filler up top where the starters much around for four innings and get their work in (boring!), they should be exciting from the very first pitch. All these top prospects are begging for exposure, and they just got a prime opportunity to show off their wheels, bats, and eye-popping fastballs.

The Diamondbacks and Rockies share a complex at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, which is already equipped with the automatic balls and strikes system that may someday render umpires obsolete. Fans will also get a glimpse of that particular future while taking in all that their top prospects have to offer. Can't. Wait. Mostly for the on-field action, but the tech's cool, too.
