Arizona Diamondbacks Afternoon Links: Everything Is Clicking

facebooktwitterreddit

Good Afternoon Everybody!

Its great to be a Arizona Diamondbacks fan right now! I don’t know about you, but I love watching 2 stress free blowout wins in which the offense scores a combined 32 runs on 26 hits.

Everything is all good in Snakes land right now. The offense in praticular David Peralta, Wellington Castillo, and A.J. Pollock are getting the job done, and the starting rotation is consistently pitching well especially at home.

After scoring 13 runs last night, the Dbacks took over the Rockies for the N.L. lead in runs scored as a team, and Dbacks starting pitchers have put together 5 straight quality starts, and a club tying record 9 straight quality starts at home.

The Dbacks as a result have suddenly won 3 in a row and are back to the .500 mark at 57-57. The Dbacks are 12-5 in their last 17 games and 14-8 in their last 22.

The Dbacks 12-5 record since July 25th is the 4th best mark in the Majors only behind the Blue Jays (13-3 .813), the Cubs (.750 12-4), and the Mets (.750 12-4).

Arizona has thrust themselves into the playoff conversation. They are only 6.5 games back of the Dodgers, and just 4 back of the Giants.

Dont foreget to scoreboard watch the Dodgers and Giants games.

This team is obviously going to need to stay hot and there going to need help, but that deficit can defienitly be made up.

With all this in mind, here are your afternoon links on this Wednesday afternoon.
