Arizona Diamondbacks Daily Dose: Broadcaster Jeff Munn Moves On
By Thomas Lynch

According to Paola Bovin at azcentral.com, broadcaster Jeff Munn will be leaving the Arizona Diamondbacks‘ broadcast team to pursue his dream of becoming a full-time, play-by-play announcer. Munn, who has been with the organization since 1996, was the radio pregame and postgame radio host and occasional fill-in for play-by-play for the D-backs. He has also been involved in other big events such as the 2001 World Series and the 1995 NBA All-Star Game. Munn is the voice of the Arizona State women’s basketball team and the stadium announcer for the Fiesta and Cactus bowls.
Per D-backs’ team president Derrick Hall:
"We are deeply grateful to him for his long run of service to the franchise, as he will remain a part of the soundtrack of our history"
We wish the best of luck to Jeff Munn as he seeks his dream job.
