Indeed, neither team has determined who will be starting for the Dbacks-Mariners matchup on Saturday. Ultimately, this post will be updated when the matchups or pitchers are announced.

I’m imagining that this spot is for Merrill Kelly who is in the process of rehabbing following a positive Covid test and symptoms. Although, this could also just be a total waste of time as the Dbacks probably have someone else planned. Either way, the pitcher will be having a lot of pressure on their shoulders to live up to the memories that will be aroused in the pregame celebration.

As for the Mariners, I haven’t a clue on who they are planning on starting yet.

Nonetheless, the game will go on.
