1. Christian Walker 467 feet

An ABSOLUTE BOMB from Walker!  467 feet and 110.5 MPH off the bat.  Good thing nobody got hit by that ball!

In 2022, Walker earned the privilege of trotting around the bases 36 times.  He averaged a home run every 4.5 games, which is very impressive when you really think about it.  He was guaranteed to hit at least one home run every week on average; very few players can claim that achievement.  A season ago Walker’s home runs averaged 414 feet of distance ranking him 8th in all of baseball for average home run distance.  Meaning when Walker hit one out, he really hit it out; no fence scrapers.  Expect to see a lot more home runs from Walker this upcoming season, and maybe if we are lucky, he’ll get ahold of one at Coors Field (thin air), and send it to the moon…

2. Daulton Varsho 451 feet

Dautlon Varsho absolutely crushed this baseball!  Already up 5-0, Varsho added insult to injury with this long blast…

Seeing Daulton Varsho in a Blue Jays uniform is going to take some time to get used to.  Last season with the D-Backs, Varsho clubbed 27 home runs over the course of 151 games.  Varsho averaged a home run roughly every 5.5 games.  Varsho’s home runs averaged a distance of 402 feet, ranking him 85th in the league, impressively above slugger Manny Machado.  Thank you for all the memories, Daulton, we wish you the best…

3. Jake McCarthy 451 feet

Ah yes, the thin air of Colorado.  Terrible for trying to breathe, but amazing for launching baseballs into the night sky…

Jake McCarthy launched 8 home runs in 99 games a season ago.  With his longest home run coming late in the season against the Rockies.  McCarthy's home runs averaged 402 feet of distance ranking him in the top 100 in all of baseball.  Many think this could be a breakout year for McCarthy, as in 64 games after the All-Star break a season ago, Mccarthy impressively posted a .300 AVG, and a .360 OBP.  He also swiped 21 bags in those 64 games.  Let’s see if Jake can awaken the power in his bat, to elevate his game to the next level…
