Goldschmidt was nominated for a hitting performance in May against the Dodgers when he set a club record with four extra base hits. He set personal highs in the game with four runs scored and six RBI’s. Hill’s diving stop of a Rene Rivera shot down the third base line earned a Best Play nomination. For his first career game-ending home run, Montero received a nomination for Walk-Off. Lamb’s first career home run, in which he received the silent treatment from the rest of the D’back players in the dugout is a candidate for Cut4. Remember the swarm of bees that Pollock had to fight through in a game in April? That received a nod for an Oddity.
